Activiteit

During the Christmas holidays, it's wintertime at the Rijksmuseum. Put on your hat, wrap up your scarf and come along for a day full of winter fun. Take part in creative activities or explore the galleries together.

Your own winter story begins in the Great Hall, where you can use special paint to make a card about your favourite work of art and post it straight away. In the Picnic Room, a world of miniature wonders awaits, from centuries-old doll's houses to the cosy Mouse Houses of Sam and Julia. Or work as a team during the Family Game, in which you unravel eight special secrets of the Rijksmuseum!

For children aged 3 to 6

Come along and make your own Christmas card, and join our theatrical guided tour Best Gift Ever. Or perhaps you’d rather have an adventure with the cat detectives Pim & Pom. Just give them a stroke and they’ll tell you where to find the mouse that disappeared!

For children aged 6 to 12

Would you like to make a winter landscape together... or would you rather become a museum researcher? Looking for something even more adventurous? Then take your whole family on an expedition to the theatres in the museum!
