Positions #7: Everything worthwhile is done with other people

Positions focuses on art that has been created through collaboration. From 13 May to 24 September 2023, international and local groups of artists will engage in dialogue at the Van Abbemuseum. In the exhibition Everything worthwhile is done with other people, artists show the visitor that collectively we achieve more than on our own.

The format of the Positions series has remained unchanged since 2014: you experience five consecutive solo exhibitions by leading artists from the Netherlands and abroad. The Van Abbemuseum regularly acquires works for its collection that were produced for and presented in Positions. These include recent works by Mounira Al Solh, Mercedes Azpilicueta and Glenda Martinus.
