From 1 to 16 August 2026 we are open every evening, offering a festive programme at various locations across the museum park. Come and enjoy the summer in a magnificent setting, surrounded by nature and history.

Festive evening

During Summer Evenings at the Open Air Museum you’ll find all kinds of things to do! The atmospheric setting of the museum park provides the backdrop for our festive evening programme and a feast for all your senses awaits you. Watch the magician perform, take a tram ride through the museum and soak up the festival atmosphere in our Picnic Area. Do you prefer things a little quieter? Then why not simply enjoy the laid-back music or take part in a guided tour?

There’s so much to experience, you’ll hardly be able to take it all in!

The Summer Evenings are for anyone who loves summer fun, music, dining together and being outdoors. Come with your family, with friends or simply on your own. Stroll through the museum park, discover new things, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a (hopefully) sunny summer evening.

Live music & creative surprises

Every evening has its own unique atmosphere, with surprise performances, live music and creative acts scattered throughout the museum park. Let yourself be carried away by music, street theatre and special encounters as you wander from square to square.
