###MUSEUM TWEESTROMENLAND – Discover life between the Maas and the Waal!###

The Land of Maas and Waal is a unique region with a remarkable history. At Museum Tweestromenland you will discover how the people of the Maas and Waal lived, worked and built their homes. The story unfolds from prehistoric times through the Roman era to the opening up of the region in the second half of the twentieth century. Its isolated location between two mighty rivers has strongly shaped the social, economic and cultural development of the area.

The museum is not only about the past, but also connects with the present and even the future. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum hosts a temporary exhibition every year. These exhibitions deepen, broaden and surprise, often featuring contemporary art as an unexpected highlight. Engaging lectures and concerts are regularly featured on our program.

Complete your visit with a delicious cup of coffee in the museum café. The museum is housed in the former Sint Elisabeth convent, next to the church in the centre of Beneden Leeuwen.
