Waan je in de Middeleeuwen

The 13th-century Radboud Castle is the only remaining fortress in the West Friesland region that belonged to Floris V. Travel in time to the Middle Ages. Descend into the dungeon, go on a scavenger hunt or work on arts and crafts in the attic.

Medieval fortress built in 1288

Radboud Castle has been an icon in the historical city of Medemblik for over 700 years. It is located on the IJsselmeer and was built by Count Floris V. The building still has a medieval atmosphere. Many of the walls and floors are as old as the castle itself. Temporary exhibitions also paint a vivid picture of life in the Middle Ages.
