Pride Starts on the Canals – and Continues Inside

25 July 2026 until 8 August 2026

Activity

This activity has ended.

As Amsterdam's Canal Parade fills the city with celebration, Huis Marseille welcomes visitors throughout WorldPride Amsterdam 2026.

Martine Gutierrez

Martine Gutierrez's exhibition brings together photography, film, and installation to explore identity, self-representation, and the construction of gender. Through meticulously staged self-portraits and immersive fictional worlds, Gutierrez questions conventional ideas of beauty, authorship, and belonging, revealing identity as something performed, mediated, and constantly reimagined.

{rode

Located along the canals, Huis Marseille offers visitors the opportunity to experience one of today's most distinctive artistic voices on identity and representation, in dialogue with the spirit of Pride. Whether visiting after the parade or while exploring the city, visitors are invited to discover the exhibition throughout the Pride celebrations.
