Travel criss-cross through time in the Groninger Museum. In the new collection presentation It's About Time the boundaries of linear time are broken.
Straightforward
We usually imagine time and history as a straight line, but what happens when we criss-cross through it? Or in circles? Eight rooms full of works of art from our own collection invite you to a personal journey of discovery through the different faces of time.
Time travelers
Several conservators of the Groninger Museum have been given the freedom to wander through the collection as time travelers and tell their own stories. Each room highlights the unique collection from a personal perspective, with themes such as nature, powerlessness and transience predominating. From ancient works of art to contemporary creations.
