The Drents Museum has all you could need for a great day out, for young and old alike. It gives you a view on the world and offers a view of Drenthe province, with stories about archaeology, art and history.

The period rooms show how wealthy Drenthe families of the previous century lived. Immerse yourself in the history and culture of Drenthe. Codename: Energy is an exhilarating adventure for families with children. The museum mounts various national and international exhibitions of archaeology, contemporary realism and art from 1885 to 1935.

The archaeology department is currently closed due to an expansion to the museum.
