Hoe werd televisie in de beginjaren gemaakt? foto's, beelden en objecten uit het archief van Beeld & Geluid krijg je een kijkje achter de schermen. Ze laten zien hoeveel creativiteit, technisch vernuft en pioniersgeest er nodig was om de eerste televisieprogramma's te maken.

Televisie

En toen was er beeld staat in het teken van 75 jaar televisie in Nederland. De tentoonstelling neemt bezoekers mee naar het moment waarop beeld voor het eerst de huiskamer binnenkwam en televisie langzaam onderdeel werd van het dagelijks leven.

Uitzendingen

Bezoekers zien hoe de eerste uitzendingen tot stand kwamen, hoe makers met weinig middelen en veel creativiteit televisie maakten en hoe mensen samen keken naar nieuws, entertainment en grote gebeurtenissen. Van een bijzonder experiment groeide televisie uit tot iets vertrouwds, iets wat generaties met elkaar verbindt.

Kinderen

Ook voor kinderen is er van alles te doen. Zij kunnen een eigen historische televisie maken en zelf een televisieprogramma bedenken.

Tentoonstelling

Een toegankelijke en herkenbare tentoonstelling vol verwondering, herinneringen en het begin van 75 jaar televisie.
