From late October 2020, the museum is closed for the construction of a brand-new and interactive media museum. The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision will remain open as an archive, event venue and for package deals and educational activities during the renovations.

Refurbishments

The museum is currently closed due to major refurbishments. The museum is expected to reopen in mid-2022 as an all- new, state-of-the-art media museum! In the meantime, Sound and Vision will take you on a journey to experience, learn, research and enjoy how we live with media.
