The Watersnoodmuseum is housed in the four caissons used to seal the last breach in the dike during the North Sea flood in 1953. Get a sense of the scale of the disaster, the rescue attempts and the reconstruction.

The North Sea Flood of 1953 is one of the worst natural disasters in the history of the Netherlands. The Watersnoodmuseum exhibits stories, items, photographs and videos showing the scale of this disaster.
