The Dutch Resistance Museum tells the story of people in times of war. These people aren’t heroes and villains, but ordinary people forced to make choices in the face of scarcity and oppression.

A view on the war years

Replica streets and large-scale photographs evoke the mood of the war years. Authentic artifacts, photographs, documents, short films and recorded sounds tell the story of people who lived during the war. In the Resistance Museum Junior, children can meet Jan, Eva, Nelly and Henk, children who lived through the war. The museum also has an exhibition on the Dutch East Indies.
