Het Touwmuseum (Rope museum) is located in an authentic ropewalk building in Oudewater. See old tools and make a real old-fashioned rope with liner from Touwfabriek G. van der Lee.

Fun with ropes

Make your own jump rope. With the help of original and historical props, photographs and films, the production of rope and how to use it is shown in a lively manner. To rope in more visitors, the interior of the museum was enlarged and fully renovated in 2015.
