The museum was reopened in May 2022 and offers four different temporary exhibitions. You can once again drink coffee ‘without getting cold ankles’, buy a present for yourself or others in the museum shop or set to work at the renovated Atelier.

The building

Stedelijk Museum Schiedam is housed in the former Sint-Jacobsgasthuis on one of the oldest dikes in Schiedam. The contemporary art contrasts beautifully with the 18th-century neoclassical building.
