In Stadsmuseum Grave (Museum of the city of Grave), uncover archaeological finds, engravings, drawings, photographs, scale models and more. Together, these objects tell the story of Grave, its surrounding church villages and their residents.

The permanent exhibition can be found in the part of the museum that dates back to 1688. This exhibition is devoted to the development of the fortress of Grave and the story of its many sieges. This earned the city the designation of “the most besieged city of the Netherlands”.
