A special and historical collection

The Oudheidkamer Texel (Texel House of Antiquities) is located in one of the oldest houses on Texel. It is fully furnished with furniture and utensils from the days of your great-great grandmother. The museum also features the smallest public herb garden in the Netherlands.

Scavenger hunts

The House of Antiquities has mapped out two scavenger hunts for children. Adventurers aged 10 and over discover what kind of things a seaman’s wife needed for daily life two hundred years ago.
