Event

The Design Fair is the go-to outdoor market for trendsetters and connoisseurs, offering a diverse range of unique designs to suit every budget. This year’s edition focuses on circular, regenerative and sustainable design, featuring work by both emerging and established designers and craftspeople.

The group of participants was co-curated by design journalist Joline van den Over.

Platform

The fair is not just an exhibition, but also a vibrant platform for action, exchange and education. Visitors can buy products, take part in workshops and have broken items repaired or transformed.

Design

During the fair, you’ll discover how designers are developing new materials, upcycling existing products and creating regenerative systems.

New Store

Whilst at the Design Fair, be sure to visit New Store in the foyer of the Nieuwe Instituut. This is a test site where, in collaboration with external partners, we’re exploring what it means to design, produce and buy in a fully regenerative way.
