King opens revamped museum with unveiling of doll made in Kamp Vught

Commemorate and contemplate. Camp Vught National Memorial commemorates the past in a location with a troubled history: the site of a former SS concentration camp.

Camp Vught National Memorial is located on the site of the former SS concentration camp. The permanent exhibition Camp Vught: seven seasons and 32,000 stories presents an impressive overview of the camp’s history. A range of stories depict the inmates’ experiences. The museum also focuses on current affairs and present-day dilemmas. In 2019, the refurbished museum was opened by King Willem-Alexander. After visiting the remembrance center you can also visit Barrack 1B, the ancillary building (limited opening hours).
