MuZIEum is a museum that makes an impact, where you can experience what it’s like to be blind or visually impaired. Here, the personal encounter is always at the heart of the experience: a job for one person, an experience for another. In pitch darkness, you put your trust in your expert guide and discover exactly what is possible when you can’t see a thing.

Together with blind and visually impaired guides, you’ll discover just how important hearing, touch, smell and taste are. With us, you’ll have encounters and conversations that move you, surprise you and broaden your horizons.

Expedition in the dark

Join your blind or visually impaired guide as you navigate everyday life or embark on a holiday adventure. How do you find your way without being able to see? What do you hear, what do you smell, what do you feel? In pitch darkness, you’ll discover in an interactive way what is actually possible without sight.

Tactile Path Expedition

See Nijmegen through a different lens. Step into the shoes of someone who is visually impaired and discover the surprises, challenges and unexpected moments you’ll encounter along the way. Experience it for yourself with augmented reality during the Tactile Path Expedition.
