A visit to the Museum Romeinse Katakomben in Valkenburg is a fascinating, educational and unforgettable experience. Wander through the underground tunnels while the guide shares stories from centuries ago.

The tunnels will take you past both graves of common Roman citizens and elaborate tombs of prominent Romans. The museum was founded in 1910 by Jan Diepen, the son of a wealthy textile manufacturer, and famous architect Pierre Cuijpers.
