De vondst van de schouw in Strijen was aanleiding om een tentoonstelling over het belang van water in de Hoeksche Waard in te richten.
Schouw
Dat is de tentoonstelling Tussen oever en overkant, varen, vissen en veerdiensten geworden. Wie de schouw maakte en hem gebruikte, hoe de Romeinen ook al met een schouw voeren, welke veerdiensten er in de Hoeksche Waard waren en nog veel meer is in deze informatieve tentoonstelling te zien.
