Castle treasures from the past, artistic treasures from the present. In Museum Helmond, old heroes walk hand in hand with contemporary masters. This all happens at two locations: the historic Helmond Castle and the modern Kunsthal.

Helmond Castle

At the largest water castle in the Netherlands, built at the behest of the Duke of Brabant, you can experience the story of this centuries-old castle. Over the centuries, the castle long acted as a chic residence for four noble families. Overlooking the town, this castle is now a museum where you can imagine playing a part in a remarkable history.

Kunsthal Helmond

The arts hall is just a stone’s throw from Museum Helmond. The museum hosts temporary exhibitions of international modern art. The museum holds exhibitions on a range of themes related to art, photography or human interest.
