Museum De Koperen Knop

In and around this historic building, we illustrate the history of the Alblasserwaard region. The museum consists of a main building, a smithy, a workshop producing hoops, and an extensive garden. The front house is furnished as a stately farmhouse, with a kitchen, a root cellar, parlor, drawing room, rentier’s room, library and reading room.

A variety of styles

Various styles in one place. Examine a beautiful collection of tiles in the entrance hall or the area between the homestead and the stables. The barn has been converted into a modern exhibition hall, focusing on art and history. Behind the farm is an extensive garden with an orchard and pollard willows. Between April 1 and October 1, the garden serves as a tea garden. The museum also has a café.
