Porous Grounds, Sacred Codes is een grootschalig tentoonstellingsproject dat je meeneemt in een krachtig en inspirerend verhaal over collectiviteit, diaspora en culturele identiteit.

RAW Material Company

Zeven kunstenaars met wortels in West-Afrika: Yacine Tilala Fall, Selly Raby Kane, Maguette Dieng, Ican Ramageli, Hamedine Kane, Eva Diallo en Babacar Traoré ‘Doli’, creëren samen een zintuiglijke totaalinstallatie die gebruik maakt van sculpturen, geluid, textiel, video en performance. Porous Grounds, Sacred Codes wordt in nauwe samenwerking met het gerenommeerde Senegalese kunstinstituut RAW Material Company (Dakar) ontwikkeld. Uit hun team zijn twee curatoren aangesteld: Haja Fanta en Filly Gueye. RAW verzorgt daarnaast het voorbereidende online residentieprogramma én werkt mee aan een prikkelend publieksprogramma vol experts en verdiepende gesprekken.
