The Markiezenhof is the most beautiful medieval city palace in western Europe. Two museums are located inside the palace: a museum on the city and its surroundings, and the Carnival Museum. Go on an adventure in this sprawling palace!

A rich history

Carnival Museum

The second floor of the palace hosts an exhibition on the history of fairs and carnivals! With parts and miniatures of the fairground rides of yesteryear, it’s a lot of fun for children.
