The Kessels Museum displays the heritage of Matthieu Kessels’ factory for musical instruments, which operated in Tilburg from 1880 to 1950. Examine a multitude of locally-made musical instruments, like brass, woodwind, percussion, string and keyboard instruments. Kessels instruments were exported to countries all over the world.

Het Kessels Museum neemt je mee in de historie van de voormalige muziekinstrumentenfabriek. In de interactieve tentoonstelling zie je het maakproces en vele van hun instrumenten: koperblaas-, houtblaas- , strijk- en toetsinstrumenten en slagwerk. In het levendige museumatelier worden instrumenten gerepareerd en gerestaureerd. En in het KidsMuziekLab kan jong en oud aan de slag als muzikant én instrumentmaker!
