Contented human

In a 100 year-old housebarn, the Kempenmuseum displays the life of the people from the Kempen region, the Contente mens, contented humans. Over the years, the contented human went from smallholder to agricultural manager, from smuggler to industrialist in cigars.

The Langgevelboerderij

Discover the Langgevelboerderij, a traditional-style housebarn transformed into a museum, where you can marvel at the exhibitions and even discover a hidden cellar. Get to know the story of the farm and life in the Campine in an interactive way. Participate in hands-on activities. Make a cigar in the traditional way or try traditional Dutch games outdoors. Any one of the several packages on offer is highly recommended.
