Ammersoyen Castle was built around 1300. The medieval atmosphere still remains. Pay a visit to the castle and explore the tower rooms, the great hall and the room where the ladies used the sit and warm themselves by the fire. After making your way through the dark corridors between thick stone walls, you enter the attic, which holds many archaeological finds from the castle moat.
