Heiligenbeeldenmuseum Kranenburg (Museum of Sacred Statues) is an initiative of a group of volunteers that saved a treasured Gothic Revival architecture church from destruction in 1999. There are 600 statues of saints on display there.

When the Church of Anthony of Padua (Antonius van Paduakerk) on the Kranenburg was forced to close its doors, volunteers stepped forward and averted its closure. It’s through their efforts that this Museum of Sacred Statues was founded. The old church now houses over 600 statues of Christian saints, including the Twelve Apostles.
