The Fruitteeltmuseum in Kapelle

The Fruitteeltmuseum (Fruit cultivation museum) is a journey of discovery through the history of fruit and fruit cultivation. The museum includes dioramas, a museum garden, authentic tools and a working auction clock, making it an interesting outing for both young and old.

The permanent exhibition explains grafting and shield budding or T-budding. The museum garden includes 170 different fruit trees, mainly varieties of apples and pears. There’s always something to see on a walk in the orchard: in spring, the wealth of blossoms; in summer, the abundance of sweet fruit ripening. The museum shop sells regional products. Children have loads of fun at this museum! A scavenger hunt has been set up in the orchard for them.
