Alphonse Mucha

The Czech artist Alphonse Mucha (1860 - 1939) is known for his posters and decorative illustrations. These works are immediately recognizable, with female figures with lush hairs, surrounded by stylized floral motifs and flowing lines, painted in pastel colors. The combination and continuous alternation of projections, sound and specially composed music in the museum pavilion in Eelde means that you as a visitor are immersed in Mucha's story.
