From Friday 24 April at De Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam: the world premiere of the World Press Photo Exhibition 2026. Come and see the most talked-about photojournalism and documentary photography of the past year.

News Cycle

The exhibition invites visitors to step outside the daily news cycle and delve deeper into familiar and unfamiliar stories from around the world.

Conflicts

This year’s award-winning projects highlight the reality and impact of global conflicts. A powerful visual account of life around the world, from the United States and Ukraine to Nepal, Pakistan and Palestine.

Vulnerability

In an intimate and often poignant way, the stories reveal the vulnerability of human life. They deal with illness and isolation, but also with grief and resilience. A series of portraits of wildlife brings the viewer closer to nature.
