A Janitor's Manifesto by Gunnar Gunnsteinsson

De Appel will move to the Diamond District in early 2024. December 6 will be the last event at Lely. A fitting farewell, listening together to the Janitor's manifesto that Gunnsteinsson wrote during his time in the building where De Appel has spent the past 7 years.

A Janitor's Manifesto, Gunnar's second studio album, musically and fictionally describes the period in his life when, in addition to his composition work, he worked part-time as a janitor at Lely. An Amsterdam, communal, artist housing complex, in which he also lived. The album was recorded and produced in Amsterdam and Reykjavik between 2017 and 2021.

Band

His band, consisting of Bergur Anderson, Ragnar Árni Ólafsson and Robert Nettleship, accompanies Gunnar Gunnsteinsson.
