Utrecht Lokaal: Lift Off

###Independent worlds### The exhibition Lift Off is a celebration of young artists. In four locations across Utrecht, of which one Centraal Museum, works by twenty-two artists who graduated from HKU Fine Arts in 2020 and 2021 are presented. The four presentations in Utrecht Lokaal show the enormous diversity of their approaches to making art and the scope of their ideas and means of expression.

In Utrecht Lokaal, the works of Kiana Girigorie, Zwaantje Kurpershoek, Monika Nowak, Jacob Schwartz and Noah van Wijk will be exhibited. Each artist reveals a highly personal world with a strong, idiosyncratic visual language. Visitors are challenged to look for connections between the works, but each artwork can also be approached individually.
