Hidden among the trees lies a miniature city with 270 buildings. On top of that, Brabants Museum Oud Oosterhout illustrates rural life in Brabant through 100 dolls.

Brabants Museum Oud Oosterhout consists of a park with a 270-building miniature city, an indoor museum and a ‘Flemish shed’ displaying traditional crafts.

Life in Brabant

The ‘Flemish shed’ houses a washing room and a shoemaker’s shop. The interior museum consists of a living room furbished in the Brabantian style of the early 20th century. Upstairs, 100 dolls illustrate the rural life in Brabant.

Historic Dutch games

The museum is a lot of fun for children, too, with traditional Dutch games, scavenger hunts and a large playground. Walk on stilts, play with hoops or discover a historic classroom.
