Design meets visual art

In the 10 rooms of the Old Building, The collection is... poetically explores the line between autonomous design and visual art. The interplay between the two disciplines allows you to think creatively about social issues such as climate change, migration, loneliness and the relationship between the city and the countryside. Prominent pieces in the exhibition include works by Maarten Baas, Jurgen Bey, Nacho Carbonell, Piet Hein Eek, Hella Jongerius and Studio Job.

Practical

During Dutch Design Week, from 22 to 30 October, The collection is... can only be visited with a DDW wristband. Before and after DDW a regular museum ticket is required.
