Oorlogsmuseum Eyewitness (Eyewitness War Museum) offers a bold and modern experience: to witness the European side of the Second World War with your own eyes. The 13 dioramas of scenes from the war include 150 life-like mannequins and original objects.
Join the museum’s fictitious protagonist, the German paratrooper August Segel, at the most important European fronts of the war. Follow his story through the letters he sends home.
A powerful experience
The powerful film, photographs, sound effects and iPads offering background information will fully immerse you. The collection consists of an extensive collection of objects and uniforms, all of them originals. Eyewitness also presents a number of important pieces that have rarely, if ever, been shown to the public.
