Panorama Mesdag is a cylindrical painting, more than 14 meters high and 120 meters in circumference. The vista of the sea, the dunes and Scheveningen village was painted by one of the most famous painters of the Hague School, Hendrik Willem Mesdag. It is the oldest 19th century panorama in the world in its original site, and a unique cultural heritage.

How to get there?

From Central Station: Bus 24 to Kijkduin, Bus 5 to Duinzigt or Bus 22 to Scheveningen Noorderstrand. From Station 'Hollands Spoor': Tram 1 to Scheveningen Noorderstrand. All exits at stop Mauritskade.

Walking from stop Mauritskade
Continue the route of your bus/tram for 80 m towards Plein1813. Turn left there, and after 100 m turn left again. After about 50 m, nr 65 is on your left.
