Kröller-Müller Museum [nl]

Permanent Collection
The Kröller-Müller Museum houses a world-famous collection of fine art, mainly from the 19th and 20th century, incorporating paintings, sculptures, drawings, graphic and applied arts. A focal point of the museum's collection is the wide collection of works by Vincent van Gogh, representing one of the most comprehensive collections of this artist's work to be found anywhere in the world. The museum also boasts important paintings by many other great artists including Georges Seurat, Pablo Picasso, Fernand Léger and Piet Mondrian, to name but a few.

Sculpture of the late 19th and 20th century also occupies an important place in the Kröller-Müller Museum. The sculpture garden, covering 25 hectares, is one of the largest in Europe. Accomodating a unique collection of works in the setting of a varied landscape, the sculpture garden offers the visitor a fascinating survey of the manner in which sculptural art has developed from the end of the 19th century up to the present. Among the sculptors represented are August Rodin, Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Richard Serra, Mario Merz, Jean Dubuffet and Claes Oldenburg.
